Filmmaker Alastair Lee turns the camera on himself in this deeply introspective story of overcoming adversity. A seemingly successful man with a perfect life, he unexpectedly experiences dark times. Fearing to lose everything, we see a man on the edge of the abyss and desperate, who uses climbing in search of peace and salvation. He has never been the best of climbers, but he faces his limits by setting himself the goal of climbing routes he has avoided for 30 years. It includes hard first ascents, calamitous trad leads and bold on sights.
