Michael Dillon

He is a pioneer of mountain and adventure films. His films cover the world's most spectacular destinations, from the Himalayas to the Andes, Antarctica, the Arctic, the Pacific, and Africa. In 1984 he filmed Australia's first ascent of Everest. In 1990 he filmed Tim Macartney-Snape's complete ascent of Everest, starting from sea level. The resulting film, Everest: Sea to Summit, won eight Grand Prize Awards. Released in 2019, Hillary: Ocean to Sky, his seventh film about Hillary, was the Grand Prize winner at the BBK Mendi Film Bilbao Bizkaia. In December 2023, he celebrated the international premiere of the film The Great White Whale by winning the Grand Prix and the Best Director award at the Mendi, once again.

Joni Cooper

A passionate outdoor enthusiast whose first career was with the National Parks in western Canada, Joni set out to combine the great outdoors with storytelling. She’s a former director of the Banff Mountain Festival and was executive director of the DOXA Documentary Film Festival in Vancouver; she has managed content and programming for the Banff World Media Festival and Asia Factual Forum in Singapore, worked as an independent film producer, and has consulted with Sharing Stories in Edinburgh and Sithengi (Southern Africa's Film and Television Market). She co-founded the DocLands Documentary Film Festival in northern California in 2017, and continues to serve as Director of Programming.

Haizea Huegun

Bachelor's Degree in Music in the specialty of Composition. Her musical aesthetic is a combination of the tradition of Western classical music and trends such as minimalism and neoclassicism. Her interest in innovation and experimentation has led her to collaborate with artists from different disciplines. In recent years, she has created original music for documentaries, short films, dance, theater and performances. She is currently focused on the composition and production of her first album, which will be released in early 2025.

Toon Hezemans

Artist and curator Toon Hezemans has always sought to combine his passions. He discovered the world of caving and rock climbing in the marl quarries of his home region. For years he was the designer of the magazine of the Dutch climbing association. As director of an arts centre, he organised interdisciplinary cultural events combining film, music, sports, and visual arts. He never lost sight of the mountains and, together with his climbing partner Thijs Horbach, they initiated the Dutch Mountain Film Festival. The DMFF could be the conclusion of his search for the perfect combination of sport, nature, and art.

Oscar Gogorza

Óscar is a journalist and has been writing for the newspaper El País since 1998, where he currently coordinates the El Montañista blog. Between 2003 and 2013 he edited the magazine CampoBase and during those years he trained to obtain the UAIGM High Mountain Guide qualification. Since then, he combines both professions, which now complement each other, allowing him to try to find a way to find time to escape to the mountains.
