BILBAO MENDI FILM FESTIVAL ORGANIZES THIS YEAR THE SECOND EDITION OF THE AMATEUR SHORT FILM CONTEST "MENDI SHORT"
The contenders of "Mendi Short 2015" have until November 15 to present their works
This is an event of international scope, aimed at non-professional video-makers, and the winning work will be screened at the Sala BBK in the Festival´s program
BILBAO MENDI FILM FESTIVAL, the International Mountain and Adventure Sport Film Festival, whose eighth edition will be held in Bilbao from 11 to 20 December, with the aim of promoting the talents of amateur video-makers, organizes its second contest of amateur short films: "Mendi Short 2015".
The competition is international and, like BILBAO MENDI FILM FESTIVAL as a whole, focusing on subjects related to the mountain, including mountaineering, climbing, adventure sports, skiing, ecology, environment, ethnography ... With a maximum of five minutes, the films in competition must be submitted by 15 November, and must have been made this year.
The jury -made up of audiovisual industry recognized professionals- will announce its ruling on December 5, and the winning work will be screened at the Sala BBK during the first weekend of BILBAO MENDI FILM FESTIVAL.
In addition participants that enjoyed MENDI SHORT will have free invitation to each of the sessions of MENDI TALKS that will be scheduled during the Bilbao Mendi Film Festival (BMFF).
The Mendi Talks are specialized areas of training and spreading, taught by audiovisual professionals recognized internationally.
