MENDI TOUR, the circuit of the best films from the Mendi Film Festival, has brought together 9,300 spectators across 50 screenings in 21 cities and towns during the winter season, from January to March. This impressive figure demonstrates the strength of mountain cinema and the quality of Mendi Film's offerings.

The films screened feature mountain themes, adventure, extreme sports, and nature, all of which received awards or received special recognition at last year's BBK Mendi Film Bilbao Bizkaia Festival. Local films such as "Harri, Orri, Arkatz”, "Izarren Zaunka”, "Aldabide”, and "Sustraiak, Raíces perdidas”, as well as international films like "K2 Mon Amour”, "Trango”, "Cantos y Flores”, "Into Altai”, "Le Moulin des Artistes”, and "Old Man Lightning”, have captivated and inspired audiences.

The Mendi Tour is well established: the 16th edition was held in Tolosa (1,600 spectators), the 15th in San Sebastián (800 spectators) and in Leioa (320 spectators), the 14th in Vitoria-Gasteiz with the inauguration of the Vital Fundazioa Arkabia center (1,350 spectators), the 13th in Igorre (315 spectators), and eight screenings were offered at the Golem cinemas in Pamplona (1,600 spectators). Beyond the Basque Country, screenings have also been held in Galicia (Vigo), Castile and León (León, Salamanca, Valladolid, and Burgos), Valencia (Canet d’en Berenguer), and Catalonia (Vielha e Mijaran).
