During the 2015 Nepal earthquake, Canadians Kathy and Bruce Macmillan were killed in a landslide that devastated a small village in the remote Langtang Valley. Three years later, their son, Jay Macmillan, travels to the scene of the tragedy to reconcile himself with his traumatic situation and that of the villagers and discovers that healing is connected to the local community. Jay forges meaningful relationships with the families of Langtangpa, also scarred and wounded by tragedy, and the universal powers of love, loss and acceptance emerge.
