Two friends set off on a mountain skiing trip in beautiful weather. Suddenly, however, an avalanche starts and wipes out everything. Roman, an expert in mountain rescues, dies after a long fall, and Rasto, a filmmaker, miraculously survives, his camera remaining intact. This unwanted self-portrait is the result of Rasto's complex psychological catharsis.
