French climber Melissa Le Nevé is the first woman to have climbed the iconic 9a 'Action Directe' route. For several years she has dedicated herself in body and soul to this goal, to the point of no longer competing in the World Cup bouldering competitions in which she is one of the best specialists. 'Action Directe', in Frankenjura (Germany), was first climbed by the German Wolfgang Güllich in 1991, thus debuting the ninth degree of difficulty in the world. Since then, only a few men have managed to do it, and no one believed that a woman could do so too.
