Myrtle Simpson is a climber, polar explorer, adventurer, writer and mother of four children, who she invited to go with her on her extreme journeys. In 1965, she became the first woman to cross Greenland’s polar ice cap on skis. She always blazes open her own trail, be it from Spitzbergen to Greenland, the North Pole to the Scottish Highlands or New Zealand to Peru.
