In a relationship that goes beyond what is considered being strictly a 'sport,' the climbing activity leaves its mark and becomes a part of its environmentally fragile setting. The mountaineering community has acknowledged the need to commit themselves to recognising the environmental toll of their sport or pastime. ‘Actúa’ brings us four stories, where action is taken to both foster a positive impact on climbing areas, and to change the climber’s relationship with their surroundings.
