Three alpinists of the French High Mountain Military Group (GMHM) face an enormous challenge: conquering the 1,000-metre vertical climb of Changabang's North face (6,864m) in alpine style. Hidden in the Indian Himalayas, this summit has seen few visitors, but has already been the scene of far too many tragedies. Their adventure provides the opportunity to explore questions about what drives humans to face the dangers and misfortunes of a mountain.
