Mutual understanding and ensuring collaboration have made it possible to succeed in the works of re-equipping and upkeeping 17 climbing areas in Gipuzkoa. As a result, both its safe practice and the protection of the territory’s natural and cultural heritage have been made possible. Public institutions, sports and climbing clubs, private landowners, specialised jurists, collaborating companies and, most importantly, climbers have formed a rope team in this project.
