This participatory project aims to show the history of the climbing topos, the works and their authors. The topos have been the way of transmitting information for as long as climbing has existed, an essential companion to the written story.
The exhibition has involved climbers and artists from all over the world such as Armand Ballart, Phillipe Barthez, François Carrafancq, Rolo Garibotti, Jean and Pierre Ravier, Christian Ravier, Jeremy Collins, Chema Agustín, Ángel López Cintero, Clay Wadman, Julio Villar, Timmy O'Neill, Eric Sloan, Rhiannon Klee Williams, Craig Muderlak and Oscar Masó, among many others.

Sala BBK is once again hosting the 20 best snapshots of the international mountain activity photography competition CVCEPHOTO, which this year celebrated its 9th edition. Among the outstanding photographs in the competition, organised by the Club Vasco de Camping Elkartea of Donostia, is "X-Man" by the Bilbao photographer Yhabril, selected to be the official poster of the 16th edition of BBK Mendi Film Bilbao Bizkaia, and the first prize in the CVCEPHOTO 2023 "Cracks" by the Soraluze photographer Carlos Cos.

Yhabril, is an adventure, action sports, wildlife and nature photographer. He is a photographer of contrasts, a mountain buff and he describes himself as "lunatic". In recent years, many of his images have gone viral and have led him to be recognised internationally as one of the best photographers in the outdoor world, his more than 50 national and international awards in some of the most prestigious competitions prove it. He is the author of the official poster for the BBK Mendi Film Bilbao Bizkaia 2023, the photograph entitled "X-Man", with which he won this designation in the CVCEPHOTO 2023 competition.
