Dave Proctor, is a Canadian ultra-marathon runner, father of three children, one of whom, 10-year-old Sam, has a rare disease. In search of promoting a national strategy regarding this type of disease, Proctor faces a number of challenges, including attempting to set a new record by completing a 537 km run in 72 hours across his home province of Alberta on Canada's busiest highway.
