In 1968 Julio Villa began a four-year long voyage aboard a small yacht. He jotted down his experiences and adventures which later he used to write his book “Eh, Petrel! Cuaderno de un navegante solitario” (Hey Petrel, Diary of a solitary navigator). The surfer Kepa Acero bases his journey on the diary to search for the lonely wave. Throughout the quest, he leaves in his wake the fear of the unknown and constrains, to blend in with the environment and the inhabitants of a remote island.
