The BMFF 10th edition official poster
The image of the Bilbao Mendi Film Festival 2017 poster will be presented on Saturday, 27th of May, at the awards ceremony of CVCEPHOTO which will be held in the Teatro Principal of Donostia-San Sebastian.
CVCEPHOTO is the international contest of mountain activity promoted by the Club Vasco de Camping Elkartea, in its third edition. The novelty of this year has been the incorporation of 'Prize Poster BILBAO MENDI FILM FESTIVAL' worth €600 and the image of the official poster of the 10th edition of BMFF that will make the winning work.
The choice is already made, and we can anticipate that the author of the photography will be at the ceremony to receive the award and present his work accompanied by the director of the BMFF Jabier Baraiazarra. It will be an intense ceremony, since CVCEPHOTO managers will share the 20 best works of its competition. And as a stellar complement, CVCE will bring together young and prominent Basque explorers Eñaut Izagirre and Mikel Sarasola on stage to face the talk "In search of cold, approach of the expeditions of exploration". Eñaut Izagirre, is geographer (Elgoibar 1990), and was awarded a grant by National Geographic Young Explorers for his expedition "Incognita Patagonia". Mikel Sarasola, is canoeist (Donostia 1987) and Director of films such as "Caminos de Agua" (Special mention of the jury BMFF 2015), "Humla", "Kurssuaq, persiguiendo".
