It is here that Karakoram's most famous porter was born. Abdul Karim, who wanted to make one of his greatest dreams come true: to pass on his knowledge and passion for the high mountains to three of his granddaughters, Amina, Alum and Sudiqa, girls aged between 15 and 18.
